Happy Birthday to me!
Mom had this all set up for me and was waiting on my arrival. I waited till she was distracted and came out to sample my snacks. I had a few ants and tasted the sour cream but was disappointed it wasn't yogurt. I did get a super special tiny taste of ketchup in one of my new mugs, sucked the seeds from on of my grape tomatoes and rolled the big one off the the side, oh and tasted the chia seeds. Soon as mom took a photo though I decided the party was over so am now napping in my princess hammock. I will be snacking all night though.

let me have the washer for my birthday. She is sleeping in the closet. I
got some snuggles with mom last night and only bugged her a couple of
times for treats.

had the best 4th ever. She slept through the booms a combo of AC on and
the washer going and old ears and maybe a bit of magic.

Yesterday I had the washer while Aurora had the closet but today we are sharing the washer.
Trying to climb to safety
I
left the washer for a bit to sleep in my hammock then I went to sleep
in the closet but after awhile I returned to the washer to spend some
more time with Aurora.
Heard a scary noise
My wake up snack of blue cheese is supposed to have soaked chi seeds mixed in. This is unacceptable. I will not eat this!

Mom
and I were snuggling and having a chat and she mentioned my dearly
departed mate Stewie. I looked up at her quickly at the name and looked
at her intently. "You still remember his name?" Of course I do! He was
my mate! Then I bowed my head and covered my eyes for a moment with my
arms. Stewie was a good loving mate and very handsome.
I
have a lovely vinegar bath last night, played with Aurora and ventured
onto the bed to visit mom. Beaker got Nosey though and I don't like
that. I started in the washer but moved to the closet. Aurora has the
washer. She spends more time in it than me now but the closet is right
by the AC.
Aurora: I went out for a noon time stroll but it was hot so I made it a short one. When I came back in Pua was up looking for me. When I went to climb up on the shelf she started poking my hands and batting at me trying to play, um excuse me but I'm trying to CLIMB here.
Then she took to following me around as I ran around inside instead. So at one point when I turned and she continued on past me I leaped on her rear and did a sneak attack. We battled briefly but then she continued on into the washer instead of chasing me.

Aurora: I went out for a noon time stroll but it was hot so I made it a short one. When I came back in Pua was up looking for me. When I went to climb up on the shelf she started poking my hands and batting at me trying to play, um excuse me but I'm trying to CLIMB here.
Then she took to following me around as I ran around inside instead. So at one point when I turned and she continued on past me I leaped on her rear and did a sneak attack. We battled briefly but then she continued on into the washer instead of chasing me.
I continued with my rounds but slipped climbing the cat tower. I fell
back onto the next level on my bum only to bounce and land in the
stuffed toy basket.I continued on to the step ladder and tried to act
like it never happened.
Also I like hanging upside down from the shelf when I sniff out the window.
PS the servant tried to give me lite sour cream. This is unacceptable. I do like that homemade sour cheese stuff she makes though. Pua ate that lite stuff. She's a little piggy.
OMG! I lifted the lid to go in the washer and Pua sprang out like a crazed jack in the box waving her claws. I was so startled I hissed and ran away. I guess once I'm done running around It's the closet shelf for me.

I decided to try going back to the washer at first Pua popped out and I
backed off again but then I came back and ignored her and shoved my way
in anyway and she poked at my hands to welcome me.

in the washer again today. Aurora did think about taking a noon time
stroll but decided to stay in and just had a snack of buttermilk before
rejoining me.
Time for a hike
I have moved to my princess hammock.
Mom just found a big claw shed on the cat tree. Maybe that's why Aurora fell the other day.

seems to have misplaced her camera but we are currently splayed out in
the washer. I got my arm over Aurora's rump with my head nestled down
behind it.

Enjoying my wood last night.July 12, 2014
Kind
of hyper tonight. I need treats. Lots of treats. I had some snuggle
time with mom too and some open window sniffing time. I even though
about going out before it was too late but didn't do it.
I went for a walk today. We went to the fish hatchery trail. We were a bit nervous since this was my first walk since the last one almost killed me. I put on a brave face and ran along and had fun with my tail up and we bot relaxed and had fun. I even pooped in the ferns.
I was running along again and then I heard them, assassins on the trail ahead. I stopped and listened. I could hear them muttering their plans to kill us. Mom said it was just tourists reading the guide posts. I know what I hear mom. RUN!

kept stopping me and offering me my safety carry bag instead. Ugh,
someone peed in that earlier and it's safer in the tree tops. So mom
started singing me my birthday song. I like that song it has my name in
it a lot "Happy birthday to Pu..."
That helped and we continued heading back to the car from there. Then I heard someone screaming and being beaten by chains. Mom claimed that was a rusty gate blowing in the wind. Mom needs to get her ears checked. I decided to run in the other direction.
The forest was haunted and filled with scary sounds. I could smell myself on the trees but I couldn't remember the right way and I've normally got a tremendous sense of direction. So mom started guiding me but I finally gave up and got in my carry bag one of the times she offered it and let her carry me back to the car.
I didn't come out in the car. I didn't even peek out. I refused to come out till the bag was safely placed in my room. I'm in the closet nest now. I don't think I want to go outside again, ever.

I was just trying to make a fridge raid and then got trapped in the arctic. Mom had to save me.

don't like these new ants. These ants suck. They don't smell the same
as last time. I prefer my soaked chia seeds. Soaked chia seeds even win
over blue cheese but I still like my blue cheese.

been grumbling about wanting to hose out the washer but there always
being an anteater in there. So Aurora is sleeping under the bed and I
started out in the closet but by the time mom dressed and walked the
dogs I was in the washer again. I kept coming out when mom was busy,like
making a batch of anteater food, then being back in by the time she was
done. It was funny but I finally let her hose it out a bit ago so am in
the closet again.

Up and having a good groom.
Thunk, bump, oh okay Aurora is under the bed today.
I
didn't feel like sleeping in the washer with Aurora so I came out and
draped myself over the edge of the sink on tip toes and shoved my snout
down the drain to sleep.
So mom comes over and starts messing with me and asking whats wrong. What's wrong is you're keeping me awake! I got a treat out of it though and have gone to my princess hammock now.

Aurora
went out for a stroll around the yard today then went and wanted to
sleep under grandma's bed but mom had to make her come home so she slept
in the washer with me.
We
are both up and playing in the closet nest. Aurora stepped outside but
heard a scary noise so came in and we are entertaining each other.
I
started to go outside after play time but I heard a scary noise too and
came in. Then Aurora decided to go out and stayed out for a long time.
She even found some ants.
