July 6th

I'm in the washer. Aurora has the closet. Mom made new yogurt and Aurora approves. She even took some still warm!

July 7th

We played in the closet last night. I chose the washer and Aurora had the closet nest but after a late morning snack she came to join me in the washer. She peeks out now and then though. I don't think she likes the sounds of the new washer.

July 8th

We are both sleeping in the closet today. We played a lot last night and had a morning cup of soup.

July 10th

Aurora was hogging the washer so I moved to the closet half way through the day. She looks nice and comfy.

5pm

Just came out of the washer to get a dink. Mom is perplexed as I got up earlier and she never saw me go back into the washer and she didn't see me when she photographed Aurora. Was I there all along under the blanket hiding, did I sneak back when she was out of the room? I'll never tell. Back to bed though.

July 11th - 11:47am

I went for a walk today only I went because I was super hyper. I was so hyper I even went outside into the yard during broad daylight and I never do that. I had fun in the woods but over did it because after I got home I started puking all over.

After I puked off of the tower onto the washer Aurora started to peak out and see what the fuss was but mom was like no wait till I wipe that up. After Aurora went to the closet to cry about the world.

Mom doused me with cold water and I had a good groom and started keeping my water down. I'm fine, was just a little heat sick. Maybe having a snack before going out was a bad idea. I'm off to the washer to sleep now.

I wanted to go on an even father walk but mom didn't let me.

She got heat sick after her walk so had to be doused with water. She was fine after. Guess she was dirty from the woods.

So mom bought a fancy harness for Aurora she thought for sure was escape proof. She smartly tried it on me first. I had it off before we even got to the trail. Good thing mom brought my regular one as back up.

Though mom found Eldorado's old H-harness when she cleaned out my carry bag. Seems it got tucked under the floor thing some how. That will probably work for her.

July 16th

I haven't posted in awhile but we had people here over the weekend. I was pulled out of the washer to meet everyone and have been sleeping in the closet since but visit my washer so it will know I still like it and to play with my toy. Aurora's been sleeping in the closet too so it may be partly the heat too.

At one point mom was pulled aside and asked about the pot smell coming from her room. LOL that never gets old. As was pointed out when Stewie peed in his crate on the movie set, our pee smells like pot. Or when the washer broke and mom was breaking the rules and washing our pet blankets at the laundry mat and people started complaining that someone must have been smoking pot in there.

I did get mad that mom wasn't in my room when I got up and that I couldn't run around either. Usually if I get up and everyone is still up I can. So I peed by the door a great big puddle. At least that's over with.

Oh Aurora went out last night she didn't do any of her usual running and just strolled around and sniffed everything and at times just sat or stood there enjoying the night.

Meanwhile I did a mission impossible raid on the fridge and opened it up and hung by my tail down into it and gorged on ants.

July 17th

Aurora went out for a bit last night then I got to go out after her. Aurora slept in the washer. I stated in the closet, went to the washer, went back to the closet and I have now settled in the washer with Aurora.

Looks like someone raided the fridge

would be a shame to let those ants go to waste.

She also heard a dog barking a bit before. She puts her claws together when worried. It looks like she is wringing her hands. She's not quite doing it fully here.

I'm up and mom is too so she should be constantly feeding me treats but she's not.

July 21st

For awhile there was a fence around the garden to keep Beaker out as he was accused of digging but he's been a good boy now so it's been removed. Aurora still wanted to poke around the garden edges for bugs and check the yard fence. Mom took to picking her up and setting her over. Aurora always protested but went about her business.

While that fence was just removed one got put across the walkway by the corn. When Aurora hit that she stopped and squatted and put her head down and mom thought she was going to turn but then after a bit Aurora looked up at mom then squatted again and mom noticed she had her arms out. Aurora had assumed the pick up position to ask mom to pick her up! What trust, but then when mom did pick her up Aurora still complained about it in order to keep up appearances.

July 22nd

I'm in the closet today. Aurora slept in the washer under the jungle blanket. I think the closet might be a bit cooler, since it's by the AC and more open.

July 24th

Had some snuggle time with mom in the closet because Aurora is a lazy lump and sleeping in and I was lonely.

July 25th

So most days lately I start in the washer napping but then after a morning snack go to the closet. This leaves Aurora with the washer but today she was in the closet too when I left the washer so we are snuggled together.

July 31st

Aw Aurora was chirping in her sleep. Didn't last long so no recording.
