We've
been sleeping in the closet a lot since it's been hot but it was cool
last night and the washer was freshly hosed out with our jungle blanket
in it so we are sleeping in the washer now.
Aurora: Darn Pua, I was sleeping nicely in the washer but she was restless and kept getting up so I woke up. I got a treat of yogurt but I heard the new washer running when I had the lid open so now I can't sleep and am pacing around while Pua is back in the washer comfy. Maybe that was her plan all along, get the washer for herself.
Aurora: the good thing about having the closet nest to myself is I can visit the soup bowl and eat without Pua coming to steal. The bad thing was when the lights got turned off and I thought it was night and came down onto the cat tree only to have someone walk back in and turn on the lights. I had to scramble back to the nest.

Aurora:
Pua has the washer I got the closet. I have been a bit restless so went
out and ran around the yard for awhile. It's hot out there so I had
some cold soup once I came back in.

Aurora:
I was sleeping in the washer with Pua then around noon decided to head
to the closet. I had a snack then awhile later I decided to go out and
explore the yard. My servant followed me around but brought her laptop
to keep working on other things. I think she got a good workout because I
walked around for a couple hours.
Towards the end she left the computer but then she picked me up a few times, for no reason. How rude. She said she wants to keep me used to it. Well, hope she is used to being told off because I'm going to every time. How rude.
It was so nice going out I had trouble giving up once I was tired. I came in and out a lot and in and out of the washer. I woke lazy Pua up, ha. She just got a drink, treat, groomed and went back to bed. I checked out the pet doors and stuck my head up in the drier vent a few times. I was curious if there were any alternate ways back into my room.
I have finally settled into the closet.

Aurora
is still sleeping in the washer. She looks comfy in there. Guess she
wore herself out yesterday. She did have her wake up yogurt treat in the
washer. I'm having a mango now.
Aurora:
Went out and explored the yard some tonight but not as much as normal.
Came back and am draped over Pua in the closet now. It was a warm muggy
day so we did not sleep in the washer.

No animals were harmed, she loves this. Most times she goes back up on her own and flops down to go again, but the neighbor distracted her.

She sort of has been won over. Sometimes she tries to get him to pet her but she wasn't in the mood.

Aurora
shed her claw the other night. She didn't do a normal pretty shed
though seems she twisted it off instead of pulled it. It will be okay
though at most mom may need to file it point again so it sheds normal
next time. But anyway...
Mom could not find where she shed the claw. Seems Beaker did though as he had it in one of his spots today all chewed up. Please doggies stick to cow hooves. Anteater claws are not delicacies. Mom likes to save our sheds, because she's weird.

Aurora
has shed the extra bits on her claw so it's nice and pointy again. It's
real short this time not even 2 inches long. She went out once today
but only briefly. She's not feeling very brave. She woke me so I came
out of the washer and played with mom a bit. Aurora's back in the
closet. I'm peaking in and out of the washer. I'm not sure if I'll stay
in here today yet or not.
Aurora:
I got brave and did go back out. I enjoyed it out there and even found a
small ant nest under some rocks by the fence. They had eggs. The nursery
is always the yummiest part.
So I was stretched out in the washer but I decided to go keep Aurora company in the closet nest

and I were chasing each other around this morning and knocked some
stuff off the desk. I lead her onto the fridge and I noticed mom was
awake so begged for treats. Aurora seemed confused and went to the
closet. then we got some fresh soup. We are sleeping in the closet nest.
Aurora:
got up had a snack went back to bed with Pua in the closet then got up
and went outside for awhile. Pua was sleeping like a curled up log. I
came back had another small nap then some soup then went out and ran
around the yard this time. Then came back and had some more soup. Pua
got up so I went and lay on the hut roof. Pua had a snack then a nap in
the washer. I had another nap and am now up having more soup. Pua is up
again and coming back this way.

So I was playing in the hammock with Pua and she just up and leaves.
She went to get a drink so I waited but she never came back and went for
another nap in the washer. How rude.
I
got up to beg for treats and got some so I kept moving to a new place
to beg for more but then mom said if I was so hungry I could eat food
and put my food back up. oops, no thanks, back to bed.
I
was sleeping in the washer but I heard the sounds of Aurora slurping
some yogurt so I joined her in the closet so I wont miss sharing any
treats.
After some morning snacks Aurora and I are sleeping in the washer together.
I
got up and went all the way to the closet shelf to get a drink then
came back to the washer to sleep. The water bowl right next to the
washer just wasn't appealing
So
yeah I kept peeking out of the washer so we went for a hike today. We
were going to go to the park trail but there were a bunch of bikers
camping all over there so we continued on to the fish hatchery. It was
fun. I ran and ran then went to explore the creek. I did not brave
swimming but then mom was mean and placed me into the creek. I curled my
but up so it turned out a kind of cannon ball. She
did it again in the deeper part too. Then I needed to groom the water
out so I got muddy because I groom with my feet. I was a little mad
about the creek but everything else was fun. Aurora's sleeping in the
closet but she might get to go if she's in the washer on a day mom's
able. She's pretty happy with her yard time anyway.
I
hate insomnia. Try the washer, try the closet, sit by the window, try
the washer again, repeat repeat, ect, agh. Trying the washer again now
after a sip of cold yogurt by the window, maybe it will work the same as
warm milk for people.
Kept
peaking out of the washer coming out then back in mom finally came over
and changed the blanket so I got the jungle blanket I started crawling
back in before she even had it all the way in. I think I may be able to
sleep now. Love my jungle blanket
Off to the closet again.
And back to my washer, played with my toy for awhile too

And back in the washer. Mean while Aurora is happily snoozing away in the closet all day.
Aurora,
picking your cup up and tipping it upside down so the yogurt spills on
the counter then licking out the cup is not the best way to get the most
out of your treat.
Aurora
was saying how much she enjoys going out during the day so I got brave
and went to the back window to sniff. When it seemed safe enough I went
out but then when I got around to the back corner of the yard I heard
screeching crashing monsters so ran for my life and am in the closet
now.
Mom said something about construction a few blocks away. That construction was gonna eat me.
I was in the closet but it's a bit chilly today so I've joined Aurora in the washer so we can keep each other warm.
