Pua is snoring. It kind of sounds like a squeaky pigeon cooing. ~ Pua's Madre

Aurora
started peeking out of the washer after 9 so she got some yogurt but
she gut up at 9:30 to go to the closet for a snack. She is up again
having a meal after a short nap in the nest. She seems to have the
munchies.
Got the washer to my self for a couple hours now. I'm gonna keep sleeping.
May 4th, 12:40am
Got
up and went right to the hammock to sleep. Then went and got a drink and
back to nap in the hammock. Then to the nest to nap with Aurora. Had a
few treats now to nap in the washer.
3:30pm
I got the closet nest and Aurora is in her hut. She's not slept in there for awhile.

Then we passed by the second trail. I knew I was getting tired but wanted to go. The decision was agony. I walked up to it and then away then up to it again X many I stood there on two legs and looked up the trail then down the road and back and forth. Eventually I went for it.
I did get very tired and wanted to find a burrow to sleep in or dig one if all else failed but we kept going. When the circle was done I went back the way we came but once we got the the short cut I gave up and climbed in my bag to be carried back.
In the car I got out and wedged myself between the seat and door to sleep till we got home. I walked in by myself, had a groom and drink and went back to bed.
Then we played some and then snuggled some more with me facing her hugging her arms. Then some more play and finger poking then I decided to go inspect the stump.
I played with Aurora later in the princess hammock.
Aurora could not settle in today no matter how much yogurt she was given so mom finally gave in and took her. Aurora was pretty mad about the manhandling to be put in a harness and crate. She probably thought she was going to the vet. But when the crate was opened on the trail she walked right out and started walking along the trail. She also did quite a bit of running.
She did have a few arguments about going off trail and needing to learn the leash always wins in a tug match but she was mostly staying on trail. Pua get to go off trail some because she's earned it by being good. She kept going back and forth on the one part of the trail rather than keep going the whole thing. The last tug match sort of ended in a draw. She used her back claws to push the harness off. It's Pua's and wasn't quite snug enough for her. I think she needs a velcro one like Pua's old one since she wont sit still for a fitting. So she got scooped and put in the crate since she was too worked up to try getting the harness back on.
She was pissed about that. I mean really royally pissed. She was thrashing around like a tazzy devil in there. She did calm down but when I went to let her out on Pua's washer her claw was stuck in the grate as she was in a more secure crate than Pua's bag but I got her loose.
Well after all of that she was too hyped up to go to bed so she went outside and ran around and ran around inside and out many times. Beaker also had fun tearing around the yard and wore himself out he mostly was just running around excited but when he spent too much time near Aurora I would pick him up so she wouldn't get to upset. Eventually she got locked in my room. She kept coming in and out of Pua's washer so Pua came out and followed her around for awhile.
They both settled back in the washer eventually. Aurora sleeping under the blanket and Pua next to her on top of the blanket. Aurora did peak out a few more times.
So really she did well and we just need a more secure harness for her and she didn't react bad like I thought she would aside from the going home too soon part.
Later I was going to come down the window shelf when Aurora started coming up and we scared each other and ran opposite ways.
The dresser drawer was open and the last ant package was torn open and she had been chowing down. When I came to investigate what mom was doing as she cleaned up she offered me some ants and I said no thanks.
So then she blames me for opening the drawer and ant package! Aurora gets caught ant handed and I still get blamed. Can't a girl just not be in the mood for ants?
So then mom gave the little cup of ants I refused to Aurora but she had some trouble with it and it fell so mom put them on her soup. Aurora was not impressed so she went and tore at the stump hoping to uncover another ant nest.
