April 2nd
Mom
can't find where she put the stash of ants. Isn't that a crime? I need
my ants. Do you think she ate them all herself and is making excuses?

Aurora
left the lid open on the washer last night so I slept in the closet and
she slept int he washer but I as you could see in the earlier photo I
am quite comfy here all stretched out.
April 4th
I have the washer. Aurora has the closet and a case of the munchies so it works that she is near her food bowl.
April 7th

April 8th
Lots
of play last night. We were playing battle on the shelves till mom came and peeked so then we went and played in my hammock.

April 11th
I had the closet to myself for a couple day now we switched and I got the washer and Aurora is in the closet.
April 12th
I was a bit moody but now that I've pooped I'm feeling better.
1:39AM
Mom
left the vinegar jug near my castle and I came down the cat condo and
tried to open the lid but couldn't get it. Maybe I should have poked a
hole in it. Mom took it but let me have a swig.
Now, some play time with Aurora in the closet.
April 13th
Aurora
and I are still sleeping in the washer. I got a new coat that is very
sophisticated, perfect for a queen like me. I hope the weather stops
being blah so I can get out and about with it soon. We got a new play
hammock too. It's got zebras on it, and rainbows, and rainbow zebras.
April 17th
Spent
some time clawing at the new log with Aurora then she went to sit on
the cat tree. I left a bit after and mom got up to get Aurora some soup.
Beaker started squeaking and he went on the cat tree. This did not
please Aurora so she left and is having soup now. Silly doggy cat trees
are for anteaters!

Apparently Aurora made some noise changing positions so mom decided to
peek. Cut it out! It's not like I bother you when you're sleeping. oh,
wait...
April 18th
Was
sharing the washer with Aurora but we've been doing that for about a
week now and it's getting old so after morning treats I went to the
closet.
April 19th
So
mom was doing yogurt and decided to set them in front of her heater to
finish. This worked in the past but tonight she woke to a bloink crack.
The first words out her mouth was "oh Pua!" Then "you better be okay"
So judgmental! It was Aurora. Guess she got the munchies and it was
starting to smell like yogurt and the pulled a jar over. Wasn't cured
enough though and ran all over into a nice big mess. Was pretty brave of
her though the heater is right near mom's bed.
April 20th
This
morning Aurora was running back and forth across the room so I got down
on the bridge and pounced down onto her and we had a massive wrestle
session. No photos as mom didn't want to disrupt the play.
11:52AM
Some
visitors wanted to see an anteater but Aurora was the only one in the
washer, so mom went ahead and pulled her out. She was not amused but was
good and only growled once when Beaker was sniffing her tail. After one
pace around the room she is back in the washer.
April 23rd
According
to the article "Characteristics of natural salt licks located in the
Colombian Amazon foothills" Tamandua occasionally visit natural salt
licks but only at night. Of course, night time is party time.
Similar to the wild salt lick behavior I was
very attracted to these elk teeth mom brought home once, like a natural

April 26th
I've
been sleeping in the closet the last few days. Aurora has been kicking
back in the washer. We play in my princess hammock instead of the new
play hammock. We don't like new things but I have peed in it once or
twice.
Bit of a party last night we tore the small door window
curtain part way down and knocked books into the sink but we didn't turn
the sink on. We also got out an old VHS tape but couldn't figure out
how to use it.
Oh and mom ask a neighbor about a rotten buggy
stump that was pulled out of the ground but she forgot to go get it so
maybe tomorrow night we'll get that.

I called the police but later when I was trying to talk him into jumping
in the car with my kids(just to check his tags and turn him in
somewhere) his owner woke up and called him. Seems he lives at a trailer
park nearby and lets his dog run at the park while he sleeps.

March 17th
Aurora and I are both sleeping in the closet today. She makes a nice pillow and I figure mom can clean out the washer for us.
March 18th 11AM
Aurora
was cranky last night from having her period but today she got brave
and ventured out of the room. First time she went back in when she saw
some feet move under the table but second time she ventured outside. She
explored with a Beaker on her tail then came in and checked the
back bedroom out then went out to explore some more before coming back
and joining me again in the washer.

March 21st
I slept in the washer by myself yesterday. We are both in the closet today.
March 22nd
I got
the washer. I had a morning snack of ketchup and some ants but Aurora
has the closet and the munchies so is eating a late meal of soup after
some yogurt.
12pm
Aw
Aurora came down but Beaker wanted to play so she got scared and went
back to the closet nest. She was not happy. Darn kids don't know their
place.
March 25th
So
last night after midnight Aurora decided to pick at the door wanting to
go out. Mom decided to pet her so Aurora complained then Hyzzie came and
growled back at her. Beaker came wanting to play so Hyzzie growled at
him to leave Aurora alone but then would growl at Aurora for her
growling. Mom settled it all down. I think Hyzzie just wanted everyone
to shut up and go back to sleep. Old ladies need their sleep.

Aurora
woke and peeked out of the washer sniffing so mom brought us yogurt but
I said I'd rather keep sleeping. She napped for a bit after then when
she came out mom came to move the bridge into place. That was scary so
Aurora went around the tower.
Beaker came over and was whining
he wants to be friends, which was scary too. Aurora almost fell and mom
helped by grabbing her tail so she didn't fall, which was a bit scary. Aurora's tail is supper soft and silky feeling skin.
Aurora climbed up into the hammock and mom offered her some cheese,
that was scary at first but then she sniffed it and said she wasn't
interested, it was only cheddar. Mom got her some more yogurt and she
liked that. Once done she came down, failed at getting into the washer
right away so went to the closet for more to eat.
Poor girl I swear she'd be scared of her own shadow if here eyes were good enough to see it.
March 29th
I
have been snuggling Aurora more. When mom has peaked I have been up
behind her hugging her with our heads together or her head on my belly
but she keeps getting up to pace around.
March 31st
Aurora:
I was sleeping peacefully in the closet and then felt the blankets
pulling from under me. That darn human servant was yanking them! How
rude. She apologized and said she thought I was sleeping with Pua, she
was going to wash it. She paid penance with some yogurt but I paced once
just to make sure she felt bad.

March 9th
Woke
and left Aurora in the washer. I had some ketchup and went to the closet
and had a tiny bit of yogurt. When I got back and peeked in at Aurora
she'd had her half cup of yogurt. How'd that happen? Not fair!
Then I played and mostly snuggled with mom on my tower for awhile. I'm still trying to talk her into more treats.
Oh and I almost forgot that last night I visited mom in bed. I didn't
stay long but it was nice. I had just been letting her come to me lately
instead.
12PM
Aurora and I were hanging out in the hut this morning but after a meal of soup we are both sleeping in the washer.
12:40PM
I
heard mom cleaning up my dinning room so looked out of the washer. I was
standing on Aurora with my hands then she stuck her nose out from under
the blanket and sniffed around my belly then she made a nice step to
get out of the washer with. Had some ketchup and grandma peeked in and petted me. Time to groom and now back to bed.
Who turned on the lights?
Pua: "Aurora lifted the lid with her hand to peek out for a bit then
came back in. Somehow this scored us a mid day treat of yogurt. Mom
opened the lid, squeaked happily then ran and got the camera but we got
our yogurt after."

March 10th

I got the washer. Aurora decided to stay in the closet nest. She has the nest made nice.
March 14th
We are both sleeping in the washer today. I did get up for treats in the morning though.
March 15th
I was sleeping in the washer with Aurora but after my morning snack of ketchup I went to the closet nest for some me time.
So
mom peeked in the closet and I wasn't there. I snuck back into the
washer when she wasn't looking, ha. Well she came and pulled me out and
we went for a walk on my favorite trail.
Sadly we do not get to
do that anymore because grandma can't handle it and it's best if humans
use a buddy in the woods but I had a special guest along. He played
chauffeur and carried my bags for me. Okay I only had the one bag but he
also took photos.
We did have to turn back sooner than I would have liked as the trail was hopelessly washed out in a dangerous manner.
After I did go the the closet though. I need to protest such disturbances even if I did enjoy it.
