March 11th

Baby on the move
Cinco was in the little hammock, didn't see how he got there.

The hammock looks so far
"I don't know how mom does it." Aurora goes from that shelf to the hammock.

Aurora started eating her food twice as fast as before so ran out. I mixed some up that day but the fibers were still soaking so when offered she said it was to watery and wouldn't drink it. She went from place to place thinking the next place might have better food and growling and hissing her displeasure. She's a very vocal girl.

She got frustrated and after refusing the offered food again went to the back of the cage and started clawing at the wall. I'd shake the cage and hiss at her. She'd stop look at me and growl then go back to it. I tried throwing the stuffed raccoon at her but got basically the same result.

So I decided to do the one thing I knew would distract her. Harass her baby. He had been in the tiny hammock that connects the window shelf to the booster shelf by the hammock. I don't know how he got there but he had climbed up onto the booster shelf. I picked him up expecting a protest from him and a worried momma come running but he didn't say boo. Moved him around front for me and he still said nothing about the movement but was squirming.

So I did what one simply must do when holding a cute baby and held him to my chest. He clung to my shirt and climbed up to one shoulder into my hair then moved down and then up the other side. After a bit he finally complained and mom came over and I gave him back.

Mom checked each place some more times till I finally fixed it by making the consistency thicker with baby cereal and once it was chilled enough she ate it. At that point she had left baby in the princess hammock. She had sniffed him several times before leaving like she wanted to remember where he was but after eating she checked the closet then settled into the over the cage hammock and complained till I brought him to her. That time he yelled out when I took him but mom was calm and didn't even growl at me when I put him in the hammock with her. She just took him back and went to sleep. She later returned to the closet with him.

Well lesson learned I got two containers in the fridge fully blended and two in the freezer with fibers in fridge soaking for full blending later. Oh and put cayenne pepper powder in the small hole but she hasn't even messed with it sense.

Aurora is eating a container to a container and a half of food per 24 hours. That's like 3-4 cups of beef food blended with water(nearly a gallon of soup). That's a lot of food but she is turning part into food for Cinco.

March 13th

Okay that smell is anything but sweet. He was practicing his licking skills.

17th

Bringing down the house
Climbing practice on a fabric house seemed like a good idea at the time

I climbed up and he was gone. I popped the house back open and he was inside.

Cinco going for a ride

It takes a lot of concentration to hold on, though he did keep getting distracted and sniffing things as they passed.
Though he did almost get pulled off when he was distracted and checking out the bed frame and Aurora moved.

Time for a castle invasion

Aurora invades the castle

Aurora decided to invade Pua's tower again. Oddly after a 3 hour nap she returned to her cottage in the closet.

She went back to the castle last night though came down for a bit and peed in Pua's food along the way. Pua was not happy: "OMG Aurora peed in my food! I got up ready to eat and see my food sitting there in a puddle of urine. I had to keep crying till mom got up to help. Who does that? Pees in someone's food! I was so upset I kept jumping when mom touched my tail as she cleaned. I thought Aurora had come to get me. I'm a little concerned that my new prince is being raised by a nut case."

19th

They play some then he suckles and check out the camera. The sound was Pua drinking.

Cinco had gotten inside the pocket hammock and Aurora couldn't figure out how to handle the situation, his being under her in there if she got in the hammock.

So I rescued him but he wouldn't come out unless I let him crawl onto me. Since Aurora was distracted by her food I snuck him off for a quick hello to the rest of the family. He took it all in stride.

When I came back Aurora had assumed she misplaced him and was looking for him on the shelf.

Cinco didn't want to let go though so I had to stand up and let him climb off me onto the platform.

Cinco decided to climb up the wood pole to get in the hammock and Aurora came by while he was still on it so he climbed onto her instead.

Aurora decided to eat a bit more and then settled happily into the hammock with baby.
