Mandua has been called away by his owner. He was only here a couple months but with him gone Pua is happier and coming to bug me for play and snuggles at night like she used too.
He knocked the vinegar and stuff down aftr a fight with Pua about who gets to eat her food. He then rolled in the vinegar and rubbed it in with his claws.
Pua demands attention
Her eyes are glowing purple o.o She was jealous of my paying attention to Mandua.
Attempt at self portrait goes wrong
Chasing me through the hall
Mid lunge
Letting me chase him
I can beat you with one eye closed
Playing with his claws
Since I didn't grab his belly soon enough.
Taking a break
These little pauses are the closest he gets to snuggling. Though today he actually cuddled. When in the cat house he curled up around m hand to sleep, aw. Though he didn't care when I left either. I went to get juice to lure him out with as I didn't want to be in the studio room all day.
Anteater in a box
Hey there
Mandua playing in the cat house
Playing anteater chase and wrestle Playing with Mandua. He runs into the studio room, it's combo for painting, lab sorta, Jake's stuff, and pantry so messy. The carpet in there is just stained not really dirty.
So now seems like the appropriate time to warn you all that Mandua wont be staying. He's here on breeder loan and recently asked if I wanted to buy him I declined. There were a number of factors involved in my decision, the most obvious being that Pua still wont forgive him for not being nice when he first got here even though he's nice now that he's settled in. If we try again the new fellow would be sequestered to another room till we are sure he's settled in. Which also leads to another factor.
For those that skipped the odds n ends post last time(most of you) he is a sperm donor and we are trying AI with Pua. Last month was the first try and we are impatiently waiting for Pua not to start her monthly spotting. If she has a baby and we can find a baby male when her's is a few months old then she may adopt the baby boy as her own too. Since she did sort of adopt Stewie and she'd not be of the mind to attack babies when she has one. We could also try the vick's trick of rubbing some on her nose so she can't tell which baby isn't hers. But that's all if we get lucky and she gets pregnant by Mandua. If she has a baby girl all the better as then we could keep it and have the one male for both. She normally spots monthly(28-30 days) but the average for females is said to be 42-45 days so we have some waiting to do to be sure she skipped spotting then a little more to be able to check via ultrasound at the vet. Tonight will be 30 days since last time she started.

The catch on the harness broke. It just fell off as he was walking, eek. So I belted him till I remembered we had a spare harness with us.
The spare harness was Pua's
But it's okay for a guy to wear pink.
Exploring a little
Since he had played earlier he wasn't too hyper and he got to explore of trail just a little bit.
Mandua head on
Passing by a stump
Sniffing a stump
On a log
This shows how lanky Mandua is. He weighed in at 18 pounds but he looks thin as he's got such long legs and arms and his body is long. Pua is shorter and broader. Madnua also has much shorter fur which adds to the look.
Heading back to the car after getting tired. I carried him the rest of the way after this. He had Pua's harness on because the one he had been wearing broke.
