Living with Anteaters

Had a few requests to see more of the domestics. they do make it in from time to time.

So the on off switch on the camera broke and it has been sent off for repair since still under warranty. Will save the last pics for the next post. Will be forced to share more of Pua in words, some will enjoy that. If you just can't live without Pua pictures for a month You could always send us a spare camera :D So till then...

Pua was quite playful last night and spent some time climbing on my like a jungle gym. I love that. At one point we were playing on the bed and she somehow wound up out on my arm off the bed laying on me like tree limb. She gives little massages with her claws and hands and there's nothing better than anteater hugs.

She has also grown a lot more talkative. She even seems to giggle in her own anteater way at times during play. Stewie used to walk around muttering to him self, huffing and puffing. Pua plays and gives little squeeks and puffs and these little "gaspy" sounds for lack of a better words as they are squeeks or puffs but seem like she is drawing air inward. all would be enough to send a person running with their pet to a vet if something other than an anteater. I carefully watch and asses any new sounds coming from here and even listen to her with the stethascope if warranted. She is just fine but chatty. One night she heard or smelled something outside the window and gave a gaspy squeek and stood up looking and listening then gasped again.
