Going for a hike
She started out slow. She was sleeping because she stayed up late the night before.
I found ants
I found more ants here
What that snout was made for
Pua sticks her nose in after ants.
I smell ants in here
Darn I can't get this thing open
I found some ants in here
Thinking about crossing the marsh
She changed her mind and came across the path with us.
Crossing the bridge
She got hyped up after eating those ants and we took a long hike up the back trail.
Thinking about taking a nap
Heading back
Taking a mud bath
Rubbing her chest in the mud
Anteater at Deception Creek
Crossing the creek
Clibing the tree
Posing pretty on the tree
Sniffing the tree
She went up that far them came back down though fell on her butt. Then she climbed back up and we got the video version.
Pua nearly escapes!
Could have edited it but, eh. Consider it a warning. A few mistakes, her tail was slippery from the mud, I didn't drop the camera the second her tail slipped, and her harness was too lose. Still the chest part of the harness acts like a belt so was still a good safety measure in place. She also did not get out of reach and I was able to pull her off the tree.
Took years to get to the point she gets to do as much as she does. At first she didn't get off the trails. Just wasn't quite careful enough this time.
Time to go home
Goodbye forest
I'm ready for my nap
Goodnight Pua
