Funny thing this happened just a day and a half before it snowed!
Run Pua Run
It was laundry day but Pua was hyper and had other ideas so we took her for a hike to wear her out a bit

The tail came in handy to keep her from going down the burrow tunnels. The stump hallow goes down a few feet then tunnels out.

After a long run out it was time to walk back

Crossing the bridge home
A man passed us on the way seemed to be looking around for something. Thought maybe he lost his dog or something. He did stop to look at Pua though. Then he came back once we were in the car and he went and circled a tree and pulled some ivy off. Odd. But then on the other end of the park on the way out I saw some people and dogs in orange vests. So thinking they were doing search and rescue training and he was trying to lay a confusing trail. Wonder what the dogs thought of Pua's scent?

Jupiter likes when I sometimes throw dirt in his litter box so I gave him a box of dirt. Pua prefers the square box so she can sit on the side and dig.

Out in the woods
Starting to get moving

She got to the top of this hill, paused then turned back.

but she turned back right away.

She just sat there a moment then gave me a look. Normaly she opens it herself so it just shuts after her.
Asked about the safety issue of her sleeping in the washer: Someone told me they lost a cat that way. Never was one to start it without looking but it sure was a surprise the first time I opened the lid and found Stewie in there. He started sleeping in there and she learned from him. I kept it unplugged for awhile so no one could turn it on without thinking, just in case. But I was the only one that used to just toss laundry in it, now I just keep blankets in there for Pua to sleep on and use the hamper and a closing box for the pee pads.
Stewie was the problem though, he loved his washing machine so much he would crawl in while it was running! I had to put heavy stuff on the lid and keep a close eye on him.
Someday I want to get this washer/dryer combo I saw(not staked literally in one machine). Then it could replace the drier and Pua could stay snug in the old washer unconnected and undisturbed even on laundry day.
