So here's a unique fact anteaters change color. I have mentioned before how they secrete a rusty/orange film from modified sweat glands. This is mostly seen on the chest as they rub them selves on things to mark them but happens all over some.
I had not bathed Pua in a long time and she got a bath the other day. I shampooed her twice and the water was still coming off orange.
Notice she is now more golden blond instead of platinum blond like she was. This could explain why wild ones tend to look orange. They do get wet a lot in the rainforest. Maybe should start misting her sometimes like I used to. The golden on the top side has faded after a few days.

That's a little creepy Hyzzie

She mostly just walked along so didn't get many pics

This is a nice place...
Pua sniffing and licking "her" special den.
... For a nap
I had to crawl in and get her out.
Carry me home mom
She got tired and lay down so got carried back in her bag. She poked her head out when came out once we reached the house door.
Ghost spider eats bee
Nice trick, hide in a flower then grab an unsuspecting bee by it's head and fill his brain with venom. And all he wanted was some pollen.
Seems it shorted out under us. The power went out then a moment later a loud bang. The "shotgun" fuze on the pole blew because of the problem under ground.

A strange plant we found
Needleleaf Navarretia, pincushion plant. Should get pretty flowers later. A perfect fairy plant. I've found 3 in the garden so far. Two got potted but I just moved the other so it will be safe. If they flower I'll try to safe seeds for nest year and plant some in the fairy garden.

To make that up to you if you were looking for Pua, She ate a cockroach.
No our place isn't infested. She dug them up where I used to pile her used wood bits out back. They were wood cockroaches. If it makes you feel better could call them wingless wood beetles.
She had a good night. Went to her window then went to get her ketchup. she went outside and found a bunch of earwigs and whatever else she got out of the ground then dug up some beetles. I saw them running away and grabbed one and saw it was a small roach so offered it to her and she ate it quick.
